Scarf Written Instructions:

Note: This scarf transitions between two different sets of cables and therefore occasionally
sc will need to be moved and cable stitches will bridge across sc (skipping those sc) in the
previous row. A couple of things to keep in mind:
Post-stitches will always be continued from row to row, a post-stitch is never
dropped from the design.
The number of post-stitch should always be the same from row to row, whether
they are within a cable or standing alone.
Try to be careful to distinguish between the two braid stitches.
There may be extra sc in some rows compared to others. This is to maintain the
width of the scarf when the number of cable stitches varies from row to row.

Tie off Yarn.

Tassel Edging*:
1. Cut yarn segments (seven segments per tassel) about six inches in length.
2. Align the seven segments (1 tassel) and fold them in half.
3. Take the loop at the half mark of the tassels and insert it in the scarf edge (from the
front of the scarf to the back).
4. Take the ends of the yarn segments and pull them through the loop (pull tight).
5. Place nine tassels on each end of the scarf, equally spaced.
6. Trim tassel ends to make them even.

* If the tassel making is confusing, additional tutorials can be found online (search for scarf fringe
tutorial in Google and videos and tutorials will pop up).

Weave in any loose yarn ends.
