1: 3D Articulatory Anatomy
Model

A group of no more than 5


people to construct a 3D
sagittal section model
Any kind of medium, incl.
paper mache, plaster, or
wires
The 3D replica should
measure a normal size
human head & a normal
sized vocal tract

2: Voice Recording
Record your voice reading
the given list of words and
sentences in one time.
Listen & analyse your own
sound production
Use any recording
application (or Audacity) &
save as an mp3 file

Weekly Assignments
Assignment will be assigned every TWO
weeks.
Each of the assignment should be uploaded
on the class website on the 2nd Monday and
4th Monday (subject to be announced)

Look into each individual sound & describe how
it is articulated in different parts of the mouth
and throat

Examine the aspect outside the segmentals, that


is the sequences of sounds
