Participant information about the study

This project is a Delphi study that involves exploring expert opinions on the issue under
investigation. A typical Delphi involves two rounds of data collection in order to reach consensus
among subject-matter experts on priorities. You kindly participated in the first round of data
collection for this survey. This survey is the second round of data collection for this
investigation. The purpose of this questionnaire is to review the findings of the first phase and to
provide an opportunity for further comments in light of the findings from the first phase of the
first phase of the investigation. Specifically, the project aims to identify priorities for improving
occupational safety and health (OSH) in Kenya and to identify what can be done to prevent or
minimise the exposure of workers to hazards in the workplace. Finally, it aims to identify
initiatives that will support and create awareness of OSH in Kenya.
Approved Occupational Safety and Health Advisors are being asked to participate because of
their level of knowledge and understanding pertaining to OSH issues in Kenya.
The information you provide will be treated confidentially and accessed only by the researcher
and her supervisor at the University of Nottingham. Your identity will remain anonymous
throughout the process.
