PROCEDURE FOR
RETREVING
MATERIAL CODE
FROM SAP

MATERIAL CODE

Step I:
1) Create a new session : Click on
procedure.

icon in Menu bar in case you are in the middle of an entry

2) Else after logging onto SAP double click on ZPP063-Printing of Basic Data text From Mat.
3) It opens a Device List window.

4) On the Device List window enter WBS Element.

5) Material Number should be entered in the following format. Cubicle:DL (i.e.) CJJ35:DL
6) Press Execute (F8) or click on

icon.

7) It opens the detailed Device List.

8) Now you can search for the material by using the Ctrl+F option.
9) This opens the find window.

10) Enter a string matching the component youre looking For RR- Name of the defective part Ex. Fuse.
For MFR - Module location or Module SA type or CE code. Ex.R3M7 or IOPS906A or 692293906A
11) It will list all the items matching the entered string.

12) Material code will appear on the column next to it.

Material Code can be copied by pressing Ctrl+Y and selecting the text to be copied.
