Project Description:
The development of data warehouse is inextricably linked to the business needs of an enterprise.
Bank has a need for analytical data warehouse to improve the decision making.
Deutsche bank is a leading bank/mortgage company in Germany having more than 270 local
offices .They have number of customers operating in various parts of the country. Like every
(international) fast growing bank, this bank is searching for new business avenues, wants to
increase the customer base and attract more investments. So far the bank is using traditional
banking practices for functioning and using the various media for promoting the various
schemas. By using the information technology for making better business strategies and
decisions this bank wants to have an edge over its competitors.
The data warehousing project for this organization involve source data from different
departments like finance, sales and marketing. Currently we have been involved in this project,
with consolidating the companys data from different operational sources, data marts and then
transforming and loading it into a centralized data warehouse for various strategic business
reports.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Team Member

Implemented ETL solution using Informatica.

Analyzing Source System data and preparing low-level documentation.
Working on Informatica Source Analyzer, Target Designer, Warehouse Designer,
Mapping Designer, Mapplet , Transformations, and workflow manger.
Developed data Mappings between source systems and warehouse components using
Mapping Designer as per the business requirements.
Used most of the Transformations such as Source Qualifier, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter,
Sequence generator, Router, Update strategy etc.
Created mapplets for reusable business process.

Description:
Enterprise Architecture Data Management (EADM) is a legacy Data Warehouse application This
application have been outsourced to Infosys. There are two functional modules DS (Data
Services) and BDS (Back Office Data Systems). BDS is designed to cater the need of the
financial operations between the vendors (External Users) and RBS Internal Users. BDS
objective integrating data from various sources into a single and consistent architecture that
