ABSTRACT

Every woman who has entered the pubertas will has menstruation that
often followed by primary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea usually begin a
few days days before menstruation happens and end in a few hours before the first
day of menstruation in the next month. If we dont treat dysmenorrhea, it will
disturb the daily activities. In reality, there are absences in female teenagers. The
aim of this research is to know the differences or the comparison of the the painful
intensity of primapara and multipara woman before and after had a birth. This
research used observational analitical method with the cross sectional design that
has been done at Gampong Limpok. The sample were 70 respondents. The data
was collected by observing the primapara woman and multipara woman by using
VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) to state dysmenorrhea painful intensity. The result of
this research is the severe dysmenorrhea painful intensity found in before birth
(32,9%) and after birth (5,7%). The moderate dysmenorrhea painful intensity
found in before birth (18,6%) and after birth (5,7%). The mild dysmenorrhea
painful intensity found in before birth (11,4%) and after birth (44,3%). The notpain dysmenorrhea painful intensity found in before birth (11,4%) and after birth
(44,3%). Based on Wilcoxon Test, significant level (=0,05), on 95% CI, the p
value=0,000. This research explains that the dysmenorrhea painful intensity
before birth is higher than after birth at Gampong Limpok.
