Gentlemen:
This legal opinion seeks to answers your questions
regarding the future labor practices of Service Provider Inc.
regarding the pronouncement of the newly elected president of
the Philippines, Pres. Duterte, regarding contractualization and
certain practices.
The Facts
Per the recent pronouncement of Pres. Duterte that he will
put an end to contractualization and the practice of putting
employees on an ENDO (end of contract) arrangement every
five months which the Department of Labor and Employement
is supportive of the said initiative and in the meantime,
suspended the grant of accreditation to job contractors.
