Sections and Age Categories

The contest has six sections:

Greetings

Stories

Games

Simulations

Music and Dance

Educational Software

For each of the six sections there are ten age categories, one for each grade from 0 to 9.
According the Romanian educational system, a pupil in 0th grade is 7 years old. This means
that the maximum age of a participant is 16 years old, corresponding to 9th grade (grade 0
> 7 years old; grade 1 > 8 years old; grade 9 > 16 years old).

Who Can Participate

At SCRIPT contest, can participate 7 to 16 years old pupils from schools or after school clubs.
The pupils cannot participate individually. They must be organized in teams of two, three, or
four members. The members of a team must be from the same organization (school or club)
and to fit the age categoryit is not allowed for a pupil to participate in a lower or a higher
age category.
Each team must have a coordinator that is teacher in the same organization as the pupils.
A pupil can be member of many teams if the teams participate in different sections. That
means that a pupil cannot be member of two teams that participate in the same section.

Stages of Competition

4.1 Schools Registration

An organization can participate in the contest if it is registered in competition by a teacher in
that institution, using an online form specified by organizers. The form asks contact data
information, and information related to the number of the teams coordinated for each
section of the contest. The number of coordinated teams influences the number of the
projects which can be send for international phase, according to section 4.3.
The maximum numbers of participant schools from a country, other than Romania, is three.
The school must register before the deadline specified in section 4.7.

4.2 Projects Design and Teams Guidance
