A Greek Romance
Shirley Valentine was a woman of 42 from Liverpool, in England. One summer, she

diamond was taken. Inspector Smithy interviewed three suspects after the burglary. He
knew it was a one-man job.
The inspector also knew that each suspect told him one false and one true statement.
Slick Jim said: It wasnt me. And Burglar Bill didnt do it.
Burglar Bill said: It wasnt me. And it wasnt Dodgy Dick.
Dodgy Dick said: I didnt do it. And Slick Jim and Burglar Bill were at the races with me.
The inspector knew immediately who the burglar was and arrested him.
