DESCRIPTION
Ensure as a minimum all containers are fabricated as per
approved drawing These are confined spaces Golden
Rule number 8- entry requires extra caution as discussed
with staff on site. There is no ventilation provided to allow
continuous dissipation of product fumes to ensure the HC
content is below LEL and cannot cause suffocation to any
one accessing the unit.

Hose reel supports ( Kisumu and Nakuru)- All are loose

and swinging dangerously urgently have the contractor on
site to correct.

PS 25 NAKURU Depot- Forklift access- The containers are

too high for safe access and positioning of IBCs. Provide a
landing ramp.

supply of EN 388 & EN 374 class Nitrile gloves availed as
consumable to all the sites, Initial estimates is about 2
pairs per staff at site/week ( 4 pairs /week per depot)

ALL SITES including NJD and MJT -Provide aluminum and

brass Jars (with handle and spout) for collecting product
from pump to measuring cylinders.
ALL SITES including NJD and MJT -Replace the Hand pump
hose with a 2 Metres stronger but more flexible chemical
resistant pipe.
Kisumu PS 28.
1. Register the Forklift and provide insurance cover
for at least 1 to be used in KPC depot
2. Power supply to the container an issue.
3. Monitor PS 28 KRA reaction on product Name
change.
Nakuru PS 25.
1. Firm a contract with a reliable forklift service
provider only one contractor available Mr john.
2. Provide a safe platform over the drain, relocate
the container to the originally agreed position
away from the drain and provide an all weather
access road for placement of the IBCs.
3. Discuss with Network to allow storage of Empty
and full IBCs at the Free Area TSS. Construct a
storage shed.

the New BLF at PS 27.

Disposal of IBCs /Navi cubes.
Identify contractors for safe disposal of IBCs at sitecontainers can not be re-used for lubes activity.
