QUALITY CHECKING RULES FOR

PROOF READING PLAN:QC center will check the random pages. All the pages will not be checked and
if the accuracy goes below 65% (i.e. if more than 35% mistakes are found in
the work) then the Qc centre will not be responsible for the future checking of
the same.
So the business associate needs to check all the pages. Also correct all
the mistakes provided in the report as well as found by himself / herself and
then submit the work.

Method Of Calculating Accuracy:Each Type of Error in the whole work of Given Pages will deduct from 100%.
It means that for an example if Total 10 Extra Space are found in the
whole work of 250 pages plan. Then the accuracy will be calculated as : 100
- (10 X 0.2) = 100 - 2.0 = 98. Thus the accuracy will be 98%.
Minimum Accuracy needed is 65% which means that if we assume
that there are no errors in the whole work except Extra space then maximum
175 Extra space errors will be allowed in the whole work.

QUALITY CHECKING RULES FOR PROOF READING PLAN:After calculating all the errors, The total Minimum Accuracy Needed is 65%
These are the Types of Error and method of deduction from the typed data:1. Each Extra Space will deduct 0.2% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Extra space will be calculated as accuracy of 100 -(10X0.2)= 98%
2. Each Space Missing will deduct 0.3% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Space Missing will be calculated as accuracy of 100 -(10X0.3)=
97%
3. Each Extra Enter will deduct 0.5% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Extra Enter will be calculated as accuracy of 100 - (10X 0.5)= 95%
4. Each Grammar Error will deduct 1.0% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Grammar Error will be calculated as accuracy of 100 - (10X1.0)=
90%
5. Each Spell Error will deduct 1.5% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 Spell Error will be calculated as accuracy of 100 - ( 10X 1.5) = 85%
6. Each word for Text Missing or Extra Text will deduct 1.5% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Text Missing or Extra Text will be calculated as accuracy of
100-( 10 X 1.5) = 85%
7. Each Extra Symbol or Symbol Missing will deduct 1.75% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 Extra Symbol or Symbol Missing will be calculated as accuracy of
100 - ( 10 X 1.75) = 82.5%
8. Each word for Line Missing or Extra Line will deduct 1.75% from 100%
Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 word for Line Missing or Extra Line will be calculated as accuracy
of 100 - ( 10 X 1.75) = 82.5%
Like this your Accuracy will be calculated.

Procedure For generating the Accuracy report :

The QC Centre will check the pages of any submission at random.
Each error will qualify a deduction as set out in the above clause.
Whenever the accuracy goes below the minimum accuracy required
for qualifying as set out in above clause, the checking will be stopped
and the Report will be automatically generated.
The centre shall continue to check each pages till such time as

minimum Accuracy levels are not breached.

The same procedure shall be followed in case of Rework

report will be generated and it will be sent to 2nd party according
to the co pa ys ethod of calculati g accuracy, hat type of
error it is and hence how much % is deducted in terms of

METHOD OF CALCULATING ACCURACY

Each and Every page that is typed perfectly and accurately i.e. it
does not have any kind of mistakes will be considered as Qualified page.
Disqualified Page:Each and every page with a single mistake whether it is Grammar
mistake or spelling mistake, any Text/word missing or extra word typed, a
space missing or an extra space, a special character missing or special
character type, a line missing or an extra line typed, an ENTER missing an
EXTRA ENTER made will be considered as disqualified page and hence that
particular page will not qualify for payment.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS :
User is required to make individual notepad files for every image files
Every line should match with the corresponding line in the IMAGE;
hence the pages shall Automatically match with the IMAGE file pages.
Font should be Times New Roman and font size 10.
Justification of text is not required even if it is done in the IMAGE file.
Paragraph spacing (if any in the IMAGE file) should be done by using
paragraph spacing (before or after only) (Auto Spacing should not be
used).
If a word splitted in the IMAGE file then the same should be done in
notepad file. If a line ends in IMAGE file then the same should be done
in notepad file.
Headers and Footers option should not be used.
Color (if any in the IMAGE file) should be given in black color.
Symbol / Accent characters / any character, if any, shall be typed same
as per Image file.
User is required to send his/her notepad files only after doing win-zip

REJECTION CRITERIA:
File name of the converted word file does not match with the

corresponding image file name.

In completed word files found.
If any third party software used.
Any third Party Software used including MS Office or any Shortcut Keys.
If files typed in MS Word then project will be rejected.
Any images are found in the word document.
Text is in other than "Times New Roman" font.
If colored text are found in any word file.
If hyperlinks are found in any of the word file.
Any other files are found in the zip folder except the word document
like Temporary files or any other type of file.
If the converted file is not in .txt format or any other extension files found.
If the completed Whole Job files has not been submitted within the
deadline mentioned by the company.

About First Chance / Rework Chance Rework

First Rework chance or Second New Project is given when the submitted files
are not found accurate in Qc. In First rework 3-4 days time period is given to
the user in which the user can check and correct the mistakes in the files and
resubmit it with the improved accuracy within Time period Allotted to him for
Rework or Second New Project chance (as per company requirement and as
per time period mentioned in the plan ) will be given in place of Rework.
Note :- If any slot is rejected in the first submission or Chance submission due
to any of the reason mentioned in the rejection criteria then the second party
will not be able to get any further works.
The Contract will be automatically cancelled if the Whole pages not submitted
at a time before time period or Incomplete file submitted.
