Project Overview

This advertising challenge will be assessing your verbal, written, and visual
skills.
Task: You will be creating a pitch for a invented-product idea of your
choosing. Once you have decided on a product, there are three main parts:
1.

Advertisement Poster
Create a large adverting poster which appeals to one of the advertising
techniques discussed in class. It must effectively sell your product to the
appropriate target audience.

2.

Memo
A written memo briefing me about your product.

3.

Presentation Pitch
A whole-class presentation pitch for your product. The class and judges
will vote on whose product pitch is the most successful.

1. Advertisement Poster
You are part of an advertising company trying to win a big contract.
You need to create a poster advertisement. Your advertisement must
actively display at least one of the advertising techniques listed on the
back of this paper. It should clearly be directed to your target audience.
