Teacher shows class colours/logos/symbols/images that
represents what Australia day means to her:
Australia Day gives me a chance to reflect on how
my family and I got our Australian Citizenship as
this was a very special memory and celebration for
us. It makes me think about the fantastic lifestyle
Australia offers to my family and I.
4.Students split into groups formed in lesson one and
provided access to Blendspace that will provide resources for
students to research symbols, logos and images that represent
Australia. Groups will save searched images.
5.Groups create a collage in Pic Collage with the images
saved. Students can use images from their own camera roll if
required.
6.Groups will add collages to the class blog answering the
following questions: Why did you choose that symbol, logo
and image? What does each symbol/ logo/image in collage
mean to you? How does the Australia Day collage show what
it means to you to be an Australian?
7.Homework: Students will view class blog and comment on
which collage they like the best and why?
