I have a keen interest in photography. I like to take snaps of nature, wildlife, candid. In order
to pursue my interest, I frequently go on photo-walks this gives me the opportunity to learn
and enjoy my hobby with the people sharing my passion. Also I am the secretary of
photography club of MDI Gurgaon. I took up this position to spread the interest of
photography among the community. Photography gives me the opportunity to travel and
also capture the best moments which could become memorable.
Apart from photography I also have keen interest in investing where in I follow value
investing approach. I like to read about the companies and analyze them for investing in it. I
am also senior security analyst at Unnati which is the largest student run mutual fund. I
track auto and auto ancillary sector. Investing has helped me improve my understanding of
the business and has changed my perspective of looking towards the business.

Please share with us the setting and the environment in which your formative years have
been spent including something about your neighbourhood, friends, family etc.
I am a single child born in a middle class family where my father is in service and mother is a
home maker. Due to various reasons like fathers service, my education and job I have lived
in different parts of the country. This has given my the opportunity to interact with different
people from various backgrounds and has groomed my personality.
I was born in Nagpur and spent a large part of my childhood in Nagpur. Post that we lived in
a small village called sausar in Chindwara district, then shifted to Indore. I did my
engineering in Trichy in Tamil Nadu and worked in Gurgaon. This exposure inherently
developed my interest in travelling. I thus love to travel meet new people and interact with
them.
My family has always encouraged me to take the initiative and has given me the freedom in
my life. I thus have developed the leadership skills. At the same time my family has always
encouraged and inculcated the qualities like generosity, collaboration and has led lot of
emphasis on ethics. I thus have developed a strong moral canvas with the blend of
generosity.
There are certain incidents / events, contributions, achievement of some kind or even a
family detail which we are proud of, which we carry in our souls as a badge of honour.
Describe something that you are proud of
This is the incident that happened to me in Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India Pvt ltd. On
the day I got relieved. After all my relieving formalities were done, we came to know about
the labour strike that had popped up in JNS instruments and Jay Ushin ltd which were my
suppliers. As I was handling those suppliers for about past 1 year my manager asked me if i
can participate and contribute in devising the contingency plan in order to cushion HMSI
from the effects of the strike at vendor end.
Even though I was relieved from HMSI I decided to take the responsibility and worked for 1
more day. We devised the strategy to procure the 1 week material in advance and maintain
the inventory at our end. I had the negotiations with the management of the supplier, got
the material procured during the night and ensured that production at HMSI does not suffer.
The next day my manager took me to the plant head and told him about the case and the
way I contributed in-spite of being relieved of my duties. The plant head commended my
work and appreciated me for being responsible. I feel this is my biggest achievement and i
feel proud of it.

salient features of your life to read like ? What is your Statement of Purpose ?
I would like to be known for my character, as a good human being and also for the
excellence in the field of my expertise. I strongly believe there is no shortcut to success and
that one should not cut corners in any given circumstances. Hard work always pays off. I
believe in the long term it is only the character which sticks with a person and one should be
