TheadditionoftheContainerstoolsetto3dsMaxDesignfacilitatescollaborationandflexibleworkflowsbyenablinguserstocollect
multipleobjectsintoasinglecontainerwhendealingwithcomplexscenes.Relatedobjects(e.g.sectionsofacity)canbeplacedina
containerandtreatedasasingleelement.Openingthecontainerexposesthecontentwhileclosingthecontainerexternalizesthe
data.Containerscanbetemporarilyunloadedfromthescene,togglingdatainandoutasneededtomanagecomplexity.Such
workflowscansavememory,increaseviewportperformanceanddecreaseloadandsavetimes.Containernodescanbetranslated,
deleted,copied,orsavedaffectingeverythinginthecontainer.Containersalsooverrideobjectpropertiessouserscanorganize
scenedisplayusingcontainerpropertieswithoutaffectinglayerorganization(similartoanestedlayerworkflow).Multiple

(e.g.cutting,tearingandunzippingcloth).Collisionobjectscanevenbesettocutclothwhentheycollide.Finally,anewInherit

Hair
The3dsMaxDesignHairtoolsethasnowbeenenhancedtogivevisualizationspecialistsmoreprecisecontroloverthestylingand
animationofhair(oftenusedforgrass).AnewSplineDeformfeatureenablesthemtoaddsplinestoasetofhairswhichactas
