President Trump kept his promise to nominate an exceptionally qualified and respected
individual who has a record of applying the Constitution as it was understood at the Founding.

Judge Gorsuchs record makes it clear that, like Justice Scalia, he believes judges should

He has served for over a decade on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

His public service also includes significant experience in the Department of Justice where
he was the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General.

Judge Gorsuch is a former Supreme Court Clerk for both Justice Byron White and Justice
Anthony Kennedy. He also clerked for D.C. Circuit Court Judge David Sentelle.

He has significant private practice experience having spent ten years litigating a broad
range of complex trials and appeals. As a practicing attorney and law student, he devoted
significant time to pro bono representation of the poor and disadvantaged.
