My Narrative Report

I. Classroom Experience
A. My experiences

Please not another NSTP course that was my head saying to me

when I saw my registration form. I tend to like waking up late on a
Saturday and not minding the time, cuddling the sheets then, sipping
coffee and when its the afternoon Ill do my homework and study my
lessons. Even though I do not have any cheerful aura to our NSTP class, I
didnt want to be late on my first day. Its nice to see that my fellow
classmates from my program and I have the same class. When our
professor arrived, we started with a prayer. Then, she introduced herself.
She is always smiling, encouraging us, and my irritable mood went away
because her charm is contagious. We also introduced ourselves to the
class and figured out that students here are mostly made up of groups of
friends. I became nervous when I noticed it because, it would be hard for
me if I only knew and talk to 5 people.

Our classroom contains students from different programs that are

present in UE but, it did not hinder us to communicate and get along with
them. The discussion inside the classroom is very informative and helpful.
I learned the basic things to remember in nursing an injury, how to
properly wrap a bandage in the said injured part of your body, what a
servant leadership is and things to remember for disaster.

Our professor does not forget to have fun. We have a lot of

entertaining activities in the classroom. For example, the tearing of a piece
of bond paper. We were requested to close our eyes while doing this
activity. Maam Letty gave us the directions but as we opened our eyes,
we that the result of our work is different from others. Then, we were
asked to share our insight about the result. As my classmates were
talking, I gained knowledge about them and how they see life. The scene
of our classroom is very light that I became comfortable with it. We
became closer in this past Saturdays. Later, I do not mind waking up early
on a Saturday for my NSTP class.
II. Barangay Project
A. My Involvement

Last semester, our class was assigned in cleaning and beautifying

a public school and now, we were on feeding program. I love feeding
program because I know when I was a little kid I enjoyed eating food, and
its heartwarming to see children appreciating. It was the first time that Ive
been a part of a feeding activity. Despite the tiring walk, it paid off upon
seeing the little children who participated in our activity. The kids were very
eager to see what we had prepared for them. It was not just the thought of
sharing that I deeply appreciated but the significance of doing small things
which brought meaningful smiles to those in need. food. One of the
memorable moments that I have is when they were playing games, and I
was standing a little far away at the children when I noticed that no one
was moving so I volunteered, I talked to them with a loud voice and got
their attention. What I like about them is that they were responsive and
ready in everything, when I asked them about the mechanics they were
silent and when we play, all of them participated. Some cried because
they lost.

I love eating and giving food. I asked them questions before giving
the food like Can you guess the food?, some of them correctly guessed.
When we requested them to line up they quickly made a line. It was
fulfilling watching those children smile and laugh. The sparks of joy in their
eyes truly inspired. Any material thing in this world can never replace the
happiness and fulfillment I felt in this activity.
