services, in order to employ men and women rebuilding from homelessness,
addictions, and incarceration.

The Mile High WorkShop is a program of:

2016 Growth & Highlights
One Amazing Funding & Partnership Opportunity. The WorkShop was
honored to join the national REDF portfolio and is a proud subgrantee of
the Social Innovation Fund (SIF) program.
Two Locations. Relocating the shop wasnt easy, but our new home made
it all worth it. Were grateful for more space and our new building-mates at
Buds Warehouse.
Three Growing Production Areas. As an expanding enterprise, were
always looking for new work and training opportunities and 2016 saw us
add a packaging & fulllment department to our growing woodworking
and sewing shops.
Four Hundred Thousand Dollars earned and raised to create
transformational employment opportunities. Our growing budget means
more impact!
Five Core Values Adopted. Our shop lives by these values everyday:
Growing Everyday We are diligent in becoming the best version of ourselves
Responsible to Each Other We succeed as a team and continually strive to build trust
Acting with Integrity We are honest and reliable in our interactions
Community of Peace We cultivate a love-lled space with compassion and respect for all
Excellence in our Work Whether with people or products, we seek quality outcomes

I started working at Mile High Workshop in Spring

2016 and when I started, I hardly knew anything
about sewing and had not worked a regular job for
a couple of years due to my struggle with addiction.
Since I have been employed, I have learned not
only how to sew a variety of products, but also
how to be a professional again and how to work
well with others. I have been given an amazing
opportunity to lead and train other seamstresses in
the shop, while still learning and growing myself.

I am so grateful for this program because it has

provided me the foundation of support, training,
and exibility to not only achieve my professional
goals, but to achieve my personal goals as well.
