The Sighthound Group is a designation used only by the Fdration

Cynologique Internationale for a group of dog breeds consisting entirely of
Sighthounds.

The Fdration Cynologique Internationale (FCI) additionally divides groups

into subgroups, which the other main English-speaking kennel clubs do not.
The FCI Sighthound Group is made up of three dierent sections.

Section 1: Longhaired Sighthounds

Section 2: Roughhaired Sighthounds
Section 3: Shorthaired Sighthounds

The FCI sorts the breeds in the group by section and country of origin as
follows:
