Arts in Education at Davao del Norte State College - Graduate School. Among these
requirements is the completion of the research study entitled: The Narratives of Multigrade

Anent to this, may I have the honor to invite you to take part of my study by being a
participant of an In-depth Interview and/or to the Clarificatory Focus Group Discussion.

Introductory Protocol

1. Informing the interviewee that the conversation will be audio tape.

2. Tell him or her that (1) all information to be given will be held confidential, (2)
his/her participation is voluntary and he/she may stop at any time if he/she feels
uncomfortable, and (3) the researcher has no intension to inflict any harm.
3. Inform interviewee that the project and the data to be obtained are privy to the
tapes which will be eventually destroyed after they are transcribed.
4. Tell him or her of the duration of the interview and how many questions will be
raised.
5. Express thanks for agreeing or not agreeing to participate.
