ALABAMA PROPERTY ALLEN NYE

The work on the Headquarters facility continues to prog-
ress in spite of a drought
in late summer and many
rains and thunderstorms this
winter. The work is moving
slowly but steadily. Pavilion
1 is ready for the roof and our hope is to begin erecting
the trusses and roof sheeting Saturday, Jan. 28, using vol-
unteer help. On Pavilion 2, the restroom walls are almost
completed, then we will install the roof posts, trusses and
roof, hopefully by late February, again
using volunteer help. We are mid-way
in completing the irrigation on the soc-
cer field, and hope to have it completed
by mid-February, with more volunteer
help. The landscaping contractor continues to work on the
parking lot, road around the soccer field and drainage also.
Last summer, we met Ramon, Zorabel, and Joy when Dan-
ielle went to camp with Child
Evangelism Fellowship. Ra-
mon was a movie producer in
Venezuela, and while working
on a film project in Germany,
Ramon trusted in Christ. For safety reasons and to better
share the Gospel, they decided to move to the States.
They started a Bible Study in their apartment in Kissim-
mee, FL with mostly Puerto Rican families, and Ramon is
known as the pastor.
We have been having mobile movie meetings every month
at their apartment complex, and the neighbors have been
responding to the Gospel message. Ramon wants to con-
tinue to produce movies, but with a strong Gospel mes-
sage. They are now partners with our ministry and need
your prayers. We thank God for partners like them!

International Reports
HAITI
Our newest partner, Rev. Predestin Pierre Herard, President of
the Haiti Baptist Association, which consists of about 90 Pas-
tors/Churches and several Orphanages and other ministries, has
anxiously awaited the provision of a Mobile Unit since the DIM
Board approved our partnership in November, 2015.
Haiti is likely the most spiritually needy country of all the coun-
tries we serve and the doors for ministry are wide open, yet we
are still almost $35,000.00 short of the funds needed to pur-
chase the Mobile Unit and all the equipment. Please pray that
the Lord will provide special means to many, both large and
small, and willingness to give that this need will be met soon
and the gospel can begin to travel around the country through
mobile film ministry reaching thousands upon thousands for
Christ.
JIM2ROMANIA
It is always good to start a new year, knowing we have a clean
slate ahead of us. The Lord has given me summers to introduce
people to Jesus in Romania, but the work in the fall, winter,
and spring is just as rewarding doing discipleship, contacting
Romanian pastors, going into the schools, and traveling to the
States. Im very thankful!
These are my financial goals for 2017. 1) $250 for a new digital
camera. 2) $150 for an addition to the screen bought last year,
for front projection. 3) $800 for repairs to rust on the car in
Romania. It will be fixed while Im in the states. 4) $2000 for a
car for my team helper to visit with pastors and set up summer
meetings. We will both be able to do this, doubling our effort. 5)
$600 per week for the summer ministry, $7200 for 12 weeks. It
is possible we may use 2 vans this summer, which will double
the amount needed for those weeks. 6) $1250 for ticket back to
Romania. Thanks so much for your prayers and gifts. The Lord
willing I will return to Romania February 23.

COLOMBIA

The ministry in Colombia continues as Renacer Baptist Church
grows and expands in numbers and ministry efforts. Janu-
ary 8-13 the church dispatched a ministry team of thirty three
adults, teens, and kids to the town of Ambalema. The town is in
desperate need of the gospel light. From what we have heard,
the town was a very popular port years ago, but now is just a
small, poor town where many people live on very little. My dad
-Mike- and I were able to go with the church team to aid in the
ministry. We had a daily devotional meeting each morning at
6:20 and then had breakfast to begin the day.
The group is divided into several subgroups- VBS, door knock-
ing evangelism, soccer, and drive in movie in the park. During
this trip, we focused our
evangelism and movie
ministry to one specific
part of the town in an ef-
fort to build relationships
with the people there,
and soften their hearts to the gospel. The VBS was Monday
through Thursday in the mornings. I was tasked to drive the van
and pick up kids from the various neighborhoods in Ambalema
and bring them to the house where we hold VBS. The first day
we made two trips, but the last day we had to make four to be
able to transport over 100
kids!

a group of our guys to the
local soccer field to play
soccer with the locals. This
allows us to build relationships and share the gospel with the
teams! We typically will buy water to share with everyone. We
didnt play every night but we met a few guys and hopefully we
can continue to build these relationships in the future.
Overall, the evangelism team was able to meet many new people
and get information from them so they can continue talking with
them even now that the team is back in Bogota. A very happy
note is that a few people from the church travel to Ambalema
once a month to hold a Bible teaching service and share time
with believers there. The ultimate goal of Renacer is to have a
permanent pastor there in Ambalema who can grow the church
