A REVIEW

In Germany various mobile service providers have raised their standards to cope
with various needs of their subscribers. This has caused an economic growth for
fixed radio networks.

This growth caused the development of a new mode of mobile communication

based on packet radio called Modacom. (Also provides satellite based service).
The new technology based on mobile radio is a European railway controlled by
packet network and electric tool collection for roads.

CELLULAR RADIO DEVELOPMENT

Providing telephony and data services cellular radio network C has been
around since the 1980s.Gsm mobile service differs from all other forms due to its
high ISDN compatibility providing mobile roaming ability over all of Europe
because of the small radio ranges per base most networks use gsm.

Due to the newness of mobile networking to Germany. These companies

provide various functions and services to the public.

DATA SERVICES IN GSM

Various measures have been introduced to enable easy communication

between data terminals linked to the radio and fixed networks. A lot of methods
are used for data services, they include ; a traffic channel that provides a time
division multiplexing channel or a frequency hopping network that fades due to
high error rates. Short message service uses packets connected By gsm signal.
Channels carrying text messages with a maximum size of 160 bytes other radio
system include a cordless telephony system used to connect a phone over a
distance of 300m outdoors and 50m indoors. Connected to the fixed networks is
the telephone unit and the phone is the mobile unit and the connection is based
on frequency division multiplexing with analogue modulation or a radio paging
system that moves data signals to ping small receivers terminals. It can also be
made to show small information like numbers or a small message

Next is a Trunked mobile radio system that works by sending computer

data betwwen a mobile radio and a central controller and can be designed using
an analogue or digital modulating scheme(1)

MOBILE DATA COMMUNICATION

It uses radio waves to send and receive information by compressing data
and sending it through channels

MOBILE SATELLITE RADIO

This uses geo stationary Satellites to communicate between mobile station

and connections with terminal devices. It is a broadcasting satellite service (ITV
Radio Regulations). Satellites in space send down signals to earth containing
scrambled broadcast to homes with equipped receivers to connect (2)

WIRELESS LOCAL NETWORK

Transmitted radio waves are used, It may use mobile base stations. It is a
wireless method using two or more devices that uses high frequency radio waves
and access points to connect.

THE FUTURE OF WIRELESS NETWORKS

New technologies and techniques always have their problems and these
usually come from growing network traffic load created by high data transfer
rates and its growing number of wireless users. The book being reviewed tries to
slow the trends and new technologies being developed in the world.

Chapter one shows the demands Of users and the ways mobile networking
companies can pacify these needs.

Chapter two explains the future methods of communication in wireless mobile

communication and the general overview of the reliable 802.11ac.

Chapter three is a look into the future of mobile technology for users. It also
discusses the implementations of these methods.

Chapter four discusses the forms of methods by which mobile networks

cooperate to provide high speed data rate demands of users.

Chapter five deserves the inclusion of coordinated multipoint transmission

techniques and third generation partnership project (3GPP) LTE advanced
Releases in multi-cell wireless systems and the challenges faced. (Failure of
wireless technologies)

Chapter six discusses MAC protocols for each wireless networking standard.

Chapter seven explainscognitive Radio networks in a full overview after

advantages and disadvantages. It also discusses orthogonal frequency division
multiplexing.
Chapter eight discusses the desire for building multicast system in todays
networks as point to multipoint or point To point transmission schemes are out-
dated. It also discusses the procedure in providing those systems and its
advantages

Chapter nine discusses the way of removing Disadvantages of 2G,3G and 4G

networks indoor coverage) by the use of femtocell networks which allows indoor
coverage and capability

Chapter ten is a strategy used in organising of transmission from many media

outlets in a network to utilize receiver side multimedia quality.

Chapter eleven proposes a new scheme to reduce network traffic by removing

some from cell networks to short proximity Communication by using Bluetooth
and wifi direct.

Chapter twelve proposes a high security system in wireless communications

discussing problems in 4G wireless systems.

Chapter thirteen focuses in D2D communication and its content break down and
security of the proposed networks which have not been looked into
