Barn Rules

1. NO Drama. It stays out of the barn so everyone has an environment to enjoy


peacefully.
2. No Smoking in the barn. Please move the smoking to the driveway. And dispose
of the ends in the dumpster or take them with you.
3. If you open it, close it. Including doors, gates and windows.
4. If you help with morning or evening chores, all water buckets must be filled.
5. Do not use or touch anyone else's items without explicit permission or direction
from them or the barn owner.
6. If you or your horse makes the mess, please clean it up. This includes manure in
the aisles and the arenas.
7. Please put away anything that is your items or items you have been using.
8. Please do not leave your horse unattended in any area including riding arena.
9. All minors under the age of 18 must wear a helmet while riding at all times. This
is a NY State law.
10. Please turn off the lights in the arena if you are the last person riding.
11. If you use the arena equipment, please return it to the proper locations.
12. ALL minors under the age of 18 must back under parent or guardian supervision
at all times. There is not to be any dropping off and leaving during lessons.
Exceptions excluded on a per term basis.
13. No dogs are allowed in the barns or pastures. If you must bring the dog with you,
they must either be kept on a leash or contained in the vehicle in a proper manner.
14. All riders or persons handling a horse must sign a release before riding and/or
boarding any horses in any way. Boarders are responsible for having guests sign
releases which are available in the office.
15. Long pants and riding boots with a heel must be worn for riding.
16. Please do not give treats to horses other than your own, unless approved by the
owner.
17. All visitors/family members accompanying a rider during a lesson must remain
quiet and well-behaved while at the stable.
18. Only the owner of the horse may ride the horse. If the owner wishes to have
another person ride their horse, please notify the office and have the additional
rider fill out a release of liability form. Owner must name the on boarding
contract on file allowing permission naming additional riders to ride their horse.
19. If you dont do it at home.dont do it at the Stable.
