CRITERIOS EDITORIALES DEL AMDI

que que el artculo ha sido enviadopara su publicacin en el AMDI del
ao correspondiente.
2) Los trabajos que se consideren para publicacin podrn ser escri-
tos en espaol, ingls, francs, portugus, italiano y alemn.
3) Los artculos sern recibidos hasta el 10 de julio de cada ao ya
que pasan por un proceso de dictamen doble ciego elaborado por pares
elegidos de una cartera de dictaminadores.
4) Los dictaminadores tienen 20 das naturales para emitir su dic-
tamen por escrito a fin de que los autores en su caso puedan contestar
al dictamen elaborado.
5) Los artculos y comentarios deben recibir un doble dictamen
ciego.
6) En caso de recibir dictmenes opuestos (uno a favor y otro en
contra de la publicacin) el Comit Dictaminador enviar a tercer dic-
tamen la obra; en dado caso la decisin sobre los incidentes que se sus-
citen la resolver el Comit Dictaminador.
7) En caso de que el artculo enviado al AMDI para su publicacin
vaya a ser publicado en otro medio impreso, el autor ser el responsable
de dar aviso al AMDI antes de que se publique y ya no podr ser parte
del AMDI aun cuando se haya dictaminado favorablemente.

una justificacin de sus razones al considerar no procedentes las obser-
vaciones y el trabajo as como los dictmenes se sometern a valoracin
del Consejo Dictaminador de Colaboraciones.

19) Las Sentencias, son las decisiones de los tribunales con aspectos
de Derecho Internacional relevantes.
20) La Coyuntura Internacional, es el anlisis del momento en
el que se presenta un hecho jurdico relevante para el Derecho Interna-
cional o las Relaciones Internacionales en general. Es el anlisis de algn
hecho que se considera parteaguas en el escenario internacional.
21) La Jurisprudencia, es la opinio iuris de los ms altos tribunales
ya sean nacionales o internacionales que sea relativa a la prctica del
Derecho Internacional.
22) Los libros a resear deben ser cuando mucho dos aos anteriores
a la publicacin del AMDI y debern ser obras relacionadas al Derecho
Internacional elaboradas por los autores de mayor impacto de cada uno
de los 5 continentes (es decir, se busca resear obras de autores de Asia,
frica y Oceana, no solamente de Amrica y Europa).
23) La extensin de los Documentos, Prctica Internacional
Mexicana, Coyuntura Internacional y Jurisprudencia, vara
conforme a su propia naturaleza
24) Las cuartillas debern elaborarse en letra Arial 12 a espacio 1.5,
las notas a pie de pgina debern ser en letra Times New Roman 10 a es-
pacio sencillo, con 3 cm. de margen en los costados derecho e izquierdo
y 2.5 de mrgenes superior e inferior. (Cualquier trabajo entregado en
formato diferente ser convertido en este formato que se solicita y en
caso de exceder del lmite de cuartillas ser devuelto al autor o autores
para su modificacin antes de enviarse a dictaminar).
25) Los trabajos debern contener ttulo en espaol e ingls an
cuando el texto se encuentre en idioma distinto.
26) Los trabajos deben contener el resumen en el idioma original, en
ingls y tambin en francs. El resumen no debe rebasar las 10 lneas.
(En caso de no poder elaborar el resumen en idioma distinto, el autor
deber indicar que autoriza al AMDI a elaborar la traduccin respectiva).
27) Los trabajos debern incluir las palabras clave tanto en el idioma
original como en ingls y en francs.

28) Los Artculos y Comentarios deben contener tanto sumario
como bibliografa.
29) Los Artculos y Comentarios que no contengan sumarios, pala-
bras clave o bibliografa, sern devueltos al autor para que sean integra-
dos en su totalidad.
30) Los trabajos deben venir acompaados con una ficha curricular
del autor o autores a pie de pgina en la primera cuartilla (cinco lneas
aproximadamente resaltando lo ms reciente y relevante sobre el au-
tor).
31) Los colaboradores del AMDI (autores, dictaminadores, miem-
bros de los Consejos) tendrn derecho a recibir un ejemplar del volu-
men del ao.

Mexican Yearbook of International Law
The Mexican Yearbook of International Law (MYIL) is one of the most rele-
vant Latin American publications in the field. Its contents refer to arti-
cles of research topics, comments, international and Mexican practical
issues. The MYIL is an esencial reading for academics and practitioners
who need to stay abreast of recent developments worldwide. Therefore,
only articles which fall within the scope of the International Law will be
considered for publication.

2) The contributions to be considered for the MYIL may be written
in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Italian or German.
3) Receipt of contributions will be closed 10 July of each year be-
cause they go through a process of double-blind opinion performed by
peers chosen from a portfolio of adjudicators.
4) Adjudicators have 20 calendar days to submit to the MYIL their
opinion in order to allow the authors to respond them.
5) Articles and Commentaries must receive a double-blind opinion.
6) In case of conflicting opinions (one for and one against the paper)
the Adjudicator Board will send the contribution to a third opinion; the
decision on incidents that may arise will be given by the Adjudicator
Board.
7) In case that the contribution sent to the MYIL is going to be pu-
blished in another print medium, the author must notify the MYIL be-
fore its publishing and it may no longer be part of the MYIL even if it
was ruled favorably by the adjudicators.

IV. Editorial Criteria
22) The books to review should be no more than two years older than
the MYIL and must be books related to International Law written by
the authors of the greatest impact of each of the 5 continents (ie, we
seek that the books reviewed come from Asia, Africa and Oceania, not
just America and Europe).
23) The length of the Documents, Mexican International
Practice, International Conjuncture and Jurisprudence, vary
according to its nature.
24) The pages must be written in Arial 12, 1.5 between lines (for
footnotes, Times New Roman 10, without separation between lines)
with 3 cm margin in the right and the left side and 2.5 in the upper
and lower margins (Any work submitted in different format will be
converted into the format requested and in case of exceeding the page
limits, it will be returned to the author for editing before being sent to
the adjudicators).
25) The papers must include the title in Spanish and English, even if
the text is in a different language.
26) Papers must include an abstract in the original language, in
English and in French too. The abstract should not exceed 10 lines. (In
case the author cannot prepare the abstract in the languages requested,
he must state that he authorizes the MYIL to do the proper translation).
27) Papers must include keywords in the original language, in English
and in French.
28) Articles and Commentaries must contain summary and biblio-
graphy.
29) The Articles and Commentaries that do not contain summaries,
keywords or bibliography, will be returned to the author in order to
include them.
30) Papers must be accompanied by a curriculum abstract of the author
in a footnote in the first page (approximately five lines highlighting the
most recent and relevant information about the author).
31) MYIL contributors (authors, adjudicators, members of the
Boards) will be entitled to receive a copy of the volume of the year.
