It is our honor to celebrate 28 years of ministry for Jane Ferguson, recently retired The scripture from Matthew comes to mind when we think of Jane, When you
as the Community Ministries Director for First Baptist Church. Not only has Jane have done it to the least of these, you have done it to me. Jane cared for all people
served those who are hurting and in need of a cup of cold water, she has been an but especially for the ones our society deems, the least of these. God had given
advisor, cheerleader and woman of Jane Jesus eyes, to see people through the
wisdom for Montgomery Baptist lens of His love and because of that, many
Association Community Ministries. people came to understand the REAL Jesus.
Jane has served on several committees
for the MBA including MBA Jane has been an example to all of us who
Community Ministries board of minister to the least of these in our society
directors. We are proud to have her as and continues to teach us that every human
a sister in Christ and colleague in being is of value to our Lord. And because of
Kingdom work in the greater that, we must treat them as such. The
Montgomery area. Montgomery Baptist Association will be
forever grateful for her wisdom, her love for all
Jane has exemplified the love of Christ people and most of all, exuding Christ through
through her words and actions over the all that she does. Pray for Jane as she embarks
last 28 years. Her pastor, Jay Wolf on a new journey in her life. She has much left
said this, What Mother Theresa was to do for the Kingdom. Let us all live the way
to Calcutta, Jane Ferguson has been Jane lived..not only talking the talk, but
to Montgomery. walking the walk.
