Meal Discounts:
Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge property has announced a new pilot program for feeding and housing our seasonal employees in
the Denali Region. Our employees have been asking for a dining and housing program with choice options and freedom. They want to
choose what to eat and when. If they miss a meal they don't want to pay for that meal. The new Employee Personal Choice Dining &
Housing Program will allow each employee to choose what and when they want to eat and how much they want to spend on their
meals and their room.
With this "pay-as-you-go" program the employee will pay for the meal at the time of purchase with cash credit or debit card.
There will be 3 different types of meal options at each meal period for employees to choose from:
--The Special will be a hot meal choice - very similar to what we offer currently - a meat and veggie option with sides and a drink.
Breakfast will cost $2 Lunch $3 and Dinner $5. If an employee chooses the specials at every meal period they will spend $10/day.
--Always Available Menu will include made to order items like steak fish and pastas for dinner. These items will typically cost more
than the special as they will cost more to prepare.
--Grab 'n Go menu - this area will include fresh whole fruit yogurt granola bars candy bottled juices & soda etc. These items will be
cheap and an option for a quick meal for an employee on the go or for a snack.
