ABSTRACT

Each supply chain management is influenced by the

expected number of requests. Manufacturers will produce the
goods according to data forecasting demand. However, demand
forecasting likely not appropriate due to consumer demand for a
product is always changing. The uncertainty of consumer
demand is also difficult for manufacturers to determine the
amount of production. As a result of the demand that is always
changing cause demand distortion of any supply chain. These
distortions cause an effect for any supply chain is called the
bullwhip effect.

The research began with determining which products will

be calculated the value of the bullwhip effect using abc analysis.
ABC analysis obtained from 7 products in the category A, 11
products in category B, and 38 products in the category C. The
products used to calculate the value of the bullwhip effect that
product categories A and B, which amounted to a total of 18
products. The calculation of the value of the bullwhip effect done
in 2 ways ie measurements for each product in each echelon and
measurements for every echelon. After calculating the bullwhip
effect, determined the cause of the bullwhip effect by spreading
to the four respondents in PT Panay Farmalab.

Based on the data processing that has been done, the

result calculation of the bullwhip effect. The results obtained in
the calculation of the bullwhip effect on the measurement of
each product on the PT Panay Farmalab are 4 products
experienced a bullwhip that Alcohol 70% (100 ml), Salaf Ichtiol,
Alcohol 70% (200 ml), and the OBH. The results obtained in the
calculation of the bullwhip effect by measuring the PT Panay
Farmalab echelon is not experiencing the bullwhip effect. Based
on the results of the questionnaire processing using fuzzy AHP
didapatkan 3 categories with the highest weight value to be used
in the reduction of the bullwhip effect on PT Nusantara Beta
Farma ie information provided should be accurate, the stability of
the product cycle, and product prices are likely to stabilize.
