I am writing this letter to request an academic progressive status review application for
my unit MKT2700 which is not completed for the past three attempts.
In this 21st century, Ive realized that communication, interpersonal skills are very
important in our life. My aim is to be a successful business man, therefore I found that successful
business lies heavily in its marketing. Marketing consist of different umbrellas such as
advertising, public relations, promotions and sales. However, to deliver product or service to
potential customers relies on the marketing skills whereby to promote and to create public
awareness. I realized that this unit could provide me such skills in order to succeed along this
journey.
It was my mistake for not doing well in this unit for the past three attempt. I was not
putting full effort when attempting unit and I found out that it was a shame. Therefore, Im
writing a statement to you to grant another chance for retaking this unit.
In the beginning of this semester, I immediately began work on my first assignment.
While I was writing I wanted to make sure that I was grasping the key concept sufficiently and
succinctly. At the same time, I started to revise on previous notes that I have attended to ensure
that I can grasp the idea on this unit and I was on the right path. Therefore, I wish that you can
reconsider on my appeal.
