1. Scope Of Work:

1. To carry out Load test witnessing & Certification of Lifting hooks of SWL 550kg at
Shahaniya frijns yard as per the client requirements.
2. Submission of final certificate after successful job completion.

2. Personnel:

Personnels shall be qualified in respective inspection Methods.

3. Cost of Works:

1 Load test Witnessing & Certification of Minimum chargeable hours in a day
Lifting hook shall be 6Hrs.

2 NDT inspection 500/Lumpsum

3 Load cell charges ( If used) 350/Day

4 Transportation charges ( Doha- Mesaieed/Shahaniya-Doha)

Above rate is inclusive of inspection and reporting.

Normal working hours in a day shall be 8 Hrs. Overtime/job on holidays shall be 1.25 times
the provided rate.
Client shall arrange crane, test weight, nut and bolts and sufficient man power assistance at
site.
NDT inspection areas shall be free from paint, slag, spatter and other foreign particles.

4. Standard Terms & Condition:

1. ARIES would require LPO or written work order to be issued by the Client before the
Commencement of work.
2. Payment to be made within 30 days from the date of invoice submission.
3. Detailed work instruction and permit to work to be given to Aries Marine personnel by
clients Technical/Safety Department.

4. Where there is a variation/ increase in work requirements, those works

will need to be supported by an amended Purchase Order & / or signed verification
on the Work Scope Assessment Request where applicable.
5. Client shall provide sufficient notice to mobilize the personnels.
6. Client shall provide the Reasonable and continuous access to the test locations with
adequate light and ventilation, if required.
7. In any circumstances the maximum compensation which Aries shall be liable is the
total invoice amount of the particular project only.
8. Late payment fee @ 2% per month will be levied on bills if not settled with in the
credit period.
9. In the event of any approach to the companys employees by the contractor/ its
Employees for any direct or indirect employment during the contract period/within
one year from the completion of the contract, the contractor shall be liable for all the
Direct/indirect loss to the company due to the same and shall be abide for all the
legal Consequences and the expense incurred for the same.
10. The Inspection report issued will be subject to the conditions that are understood
and agreed that nothing herein shall be deemed to relieve any designer,
manufacturer, seller, supplier, repairer, or operator of any warranty both express &
implied and Our Liability shall be limited to the acts and omissions of its
employees, agents, Inspectors and subcontractors. Under any circumstances we
shall not be liable for any indirect consequential loss damages, injury or damage to
any person or property occurring by reason of negligent operation, misuse of, or any
defect in materials, machinery, equipment, or any other items other than defects in
items actually inspected by us and which are covered by the report provided.
