Club Historian Davao (RCDD)
For every year, a victory!
Area: 2C, Davao City, Philippines
The Rotary Club of Downtown Davao (RCDD) is the second all-women service
club in Davao City. RCDD was trained and nurtured by its Mother Club, the Rotary Date Chartered: February 23, 1993
Club of Davao. Then District Governor Xavier Ledesma appointed PP Frank Zuzon (the 29, 258th club all over the
of RC Davao to be the clubs Special Group Representative, to assist in the initial

A landmark achievement was made during RY 1998-1999 under the leadership of Duterte
President Linda C. Tesoro. RCDD bested all Rotary clubs in the district with a Grand
Slam, wining all four of the major district awards: Most Outstnding Club, President, Multi-purpose Building: Center for
Secretary, and Club Bulletin. It was considered as a historical track record of a club Hope at Agdao district
in the district, which is yet to be duplicated.
Year after year, the harvest was great that it came to a point that no Downtowner Mother Club: Rotary Club of Davao
would want to be President! It was feared that the clubs sterling performance
record may not be maintained. In RY 2005-2006, Rotarys Centennial year, Charter Daughter Club: Rotary Club of Pag-
President Len Magno was installed as the first woman District Governor of District Asa
