Harvard Projects cc was formed 15 years ago as a result of Numatics South Africa
relocating their operations to the East Rand.
The company has grown from a one man operation into a multi-divisional company
servicing the whole of the West Rand as far as Brits in the North West.
We represent all the products for which Numatics South Africa are the sole South
African representative, namely Numatics, Bimba, Airtac, and Ultraline rodless
cylinders.
We also import specialized safety equipment and valves from Ross, used mainly for
big industrial presses.
More recently, we have been appointed distributors for Festo and SMC Pneumatics.
Harvard Projects cc t/a NumaticsWest, in association with Numatics South Africa, has
gained a reputation for supplying reliable, quality equipment at very competitive prices
and this is followed up with excellent after sales service.
Our products have been operating trouble free for years in companies such as Illovo
Sugar, Tongaat Huletts, Mondi, Sappi, Rocla, Nampak, Meadow Feeds, Richards
Bay Minerals, Scaw Metals, Afrisam, George Stott & Co. and Consol Glass to
name but a few.
Numatics has been marketing and selling the Numatics products on the West Rand
for the past twenty years and as a result of the quality of the product and the guarantee
that it offers (200 million cycles on valves), have grown into a solid business.
The character of the company has been molded by its decision to operate in a highly
specialized and competitive field and has over the years created opportunities and
specialized training for all race groups in South Africa.
Harvard Project has EME status (documents can be provided).
We are very competitive in the market because of the quality of our products, service
and delivery.
We have an in-house workshop where we manufacture our own pneumatic cylinders,
and also repair pneumatic valves and cylinders.
