WIRELESS DETECTOR
High image quality. Lower dose.

Superior Direct Contact technology

Most digital detectors incorporate a protective layer between the CsI (Cesium Iodide) scintillator and the
Direct
Contact
photodiodes of the TFT (Thin Film Transistor) sensor panel. This causes light to disperse, resulting in a loss of
image quality. Konica Minolta s unique Direct Contact technology minimises light dispersal thus ensuring
optimum image sharpness.

tional lithium ion batteries.

Lightweight Rigid body

The battery lasts as long as the panel

Conventional batteries need to be changed after about a year. Our new lithium ion capacitors last as
long as the panel. Which means there is no need for exchanging the battery. Which in turn allows us
to make the panel case lighter and stronger.

Apart from a long life expectancy, our new generation battery technology has a long operating time life cycle
of approximately 200 images per 5.5 hours. Recharging is impressively quick, from empty to full in Charging time 30 minutes with

Lightweight. Durable.

World s lightest at panel detector

At 2.9 kg, AeroDR is simply the lightest of its type in the world. This,
combined with its wireless capability, makes it uniquely portable
and exible, giving technologists considerably more freedom in
how they choose to work.
