inyeccin ms apropiado a emplear.

Abstract
Currently in the oil field it can be observed that the great discoveries of oil and / or gas reserves are
increasingly scarce, this happens when the reservoir loses pressure, where primary production is coming
to an end and in most cases Secondary recovery processes are applied and it is necessary to carry out the
optimization of recovery of the discovered reserves, which are mostly applied with secondary recovery
processes in which water or gas is injected (fig.1), this To move the remaining oil to the producing
wells; Which involve technical and economic aspects very important for the oil industry. This article
describes the different parameters and characteristics that encourage us to perform a secondary recovery
and from these make a selection of the type of injection more appropriate to use. In which the
methodology to be used will be performing a pilot test that will provide us with the characteristics of the
entire reservoir under study; With the help of this methodology we will be able to determine the type of
fluid to be injected that for our case of study it was obtained that the most appropriate fluid is water
since this type of injection has high percentage of recovery of hydrocarbons and its application is more
favorable because The time of employment is lower unlike the others and also can be rescued the low
economic cost since the water is easy to inject, it is an effective agent for the displacement; That later
this one can increase the pressure of the reservoir obtaining economic benefit for the company and more
productive life of the well; Since this pressure will be in charge to move the hydrocarbons to the
production line and then bring them to surface and their respective treatment.
Key words: Secondary oil recovery, recovery factor, pilot test, totals injected water and displacement
efficiency.
