parkedatMCC.BODmembersagreedthatMCCwillusetheinsurancetocoverthenecessaryrepairsandbringthe
issueofunevenparkingspacesattheupcomingBOD+BOTmeeting.

ResolutionforBankofAmericaAccount

CatherinediscussedtheneedtoresolvependingitemswiththeBankofAmericaaccount.CatherinetoldtheBOD
thatshewillpreparetwodocumentsonedetailingthenewBODmembersandanotherallowingBashaSajjadthe
authority to sign checks. BOD members also agreed to get updates from the Treasurer on issues related to the
budgetinthenextfewmeetings.

MerwaisHassanDiscussion

BOD members discussed on how best to accommodate Mirwaiss request to become a paid employee at MCC.
Catherine provided the background to BOD members and explained that Mirwaiss is involved in managing a
number of events at MCC. As part of next steps, Catherine will talk to Munir to draft a contract stating that
Mirwaiswouldbelimitedtowork2225hrs/week.

Rulesforvolunteers

CatherinementionedthatshewouldworkwithMunirtodraftadocumentstatingtheruleswhenvolunteeringat
MCC.

RamadanInterns

BODmembersagreedtoworkwithMunirtohirenewinternsforRamadan.

SyrianRefugeeFunds

BODmembersdiscussedtheupdateontheSyrianRefugeefamilyGhassanfamily.Asafollowupfromthelast
meeting,BODmembersagreedtohelpthefamilywiththeirmonthlyrent.ZarinawillfillZakatapplicationforthe
family,andthemoneywillcomefromtheSyrianRefugeeFunds(notZakatFund).Zarinaalsoagreedtoworkwith
MunirtodraftaletterstatingMCCswillingnesstosupplementthemonthlyrentpayment.

needed. Zarina remindedthe BOD thataccordingto the By Laws the purposeof forming Committees is to get
moreofthecommunitymembersinvolvedwiththeBODoperations.Also,everycommitteeneedsatleastthree
membersandrequirestheBoardsapproval.BODmemberslistedoutthecurrentcommittees
