Benefits of Exercise

What is exercise?
Exercise refer to any type of physical movement of the
body that will increase your fitness level. There are
quite a lot of reasons people exercise and the most
popular purpose is to maintain their health. Other than
that, some do it for fun, and some also exercise as a
form of escapism from the reality (stress).

Does exercise feels harder the heavier you are?
A self-explanatory experiment involving walking up a
set of stairs carrying a 10 kg weight is usually enough
to help most students answer this question. This will
actually make the students know the struggle of a
person with obesity. The fat is not only cause problem
of carrying extra weight but also thermoregulations
because fat is an insulator (Nelson Thornes 1998)
Facts about exercise in numbers
There are statistics that shows the involvement of
people with exercise and these facts would actually
reflect how we are unaware of the significance of
sweating
More than 60 percent of American adults seldom
physically active. In fact, 25 percent of all adults
are not active at all
Almost fifty-fifty of young Americans 12-21 years
old are not healthily active on a regular basis
The enrolment of student in physical education
classes have drop among secondary school
students from 42 percent in 1991 to 25 percent in
1995
Exercise improves mood
Sandhya Pruthi (2011) states that exercise will give you
an emotional lift. A work for half an hour can actually
help. Physical activity will get your brain to work in form
of giving out chemicals that will actually make you
more vibrant and more relaxed. You may also feel
better about your appearance and yourself when you
exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and
improve your self-esteem.
