and techniques so that they can keep check on excessive wastage. Once the me an opportunity to not onlyexecute various mods so as to systemise the culture
company is able to control its waste it will be able to enhance the production for a digital representation but also to evolve into the link between the unoganised
drastically.
and the oranisation..
At times industry neglect these things as they hardly matters to them but actually this
wastage affect the company's productivity and cost to a great extend. There are nine
different kinds of wastages: Overproduction, Transportation, Inappropriate
processing, Delays (waiting time), Unnecessary Inventories, Unnecessary/Excess
Motions, Defective products, untapped resources & Misused resources. Chief
Engineer Taiichi Ohno of Toyota identified these nine wastes. Since that time one
more type of waste has been added to the list: underutilization of resources.
Main objective is that we have to enhance the productivity by waste minimization &
their sub objectives are Elimination of waste, Continuous improvement, Value
adding operations = Maximum, Non-value adding operations = Minimum,
Maintaining cost effectiveness to remain competitive in the market & Quick
response to market demands and shorter lead times by reducing ineffective time.
