11 Door Frames
Provide, make and Install Beech wood Door frame to take solid core or
glazed shutters. The Beech wood should be of the best quality well
seasoned and free from saps, knots, warps and other defects. The
frame should be properly joined by mortise and tenon, joint with hard
wooden pins and the joints should be coated with white lead before
being fitted together. The frame should be of section as per Drawing.
All faces other then conceled ones should be painted with a primer
coat before fixing in position etc also included Polyurethane polish
finish, beading, rebates, M.S holdfast, architraves, sealant as
required. Complete in all respects and conforming to the requirements
of drawings, and to the entire satisfaction of the Project consultant. All

12 Solid Door Shutters

Provide, make and install solid core shutter. The shutter may be
paneled, glazed, partly paneled or partly glazed formica finish with
Beech wood lipping or as specified. The thickness of shutter shall be
1 or as specified. The panels shall be planed and neat and truly
finished to the exact dimensions with necessary brass hinges, tower
bolts, hock bolts etc. Screws should be of suitable length and correct
diameter and should be fixed with screw driver not by hammering. All
wooden material to be properly treated with termite proofing
