Now you can set a different font for the icons in the drawer
( Preferences App Grid Font )

New color picker, designed following the Material Design guidelines, and
optimized to be intuitive and extremely precise.

The icon picker has been rethinked to be more efficient. When you start
editing an icon, the picker will automatically propose you some
suggestions for that app, saving you time and efforts.

Search bar is now accent insensitive and works better with no-latin
alphabets.

Starting an app with a gesture will show a different animation according to

the direction of your finger

The widget picker is now much faster and doesnt require to cache new
widget anymore

Now you can install a font just by opening a .ttf or .otf file and ou can
restore a backup just by opening a .slbk file

Turn off the screen without installing the extra plugin (requires root).

1 - UI changes
Smart Launcher 3 is just 9 months old but design is always evolving so we decided to
include some changes in SL 3.16.
The new default wallpaper has been designed to perfectly fit the structure of the
launcher with a material style.

We also provided camera and gallery with two brand new icons.

All the fonts included in SL have been updated to the latest version of Roboto.

Also there are some minor changes that we wont list here.

2 - Get Pro with an in-app purchase

It will be possible for free users to get Pro without downloading another app. This will be the
suggested way to purchase SL Pro in future.

3 - Support for a new format of icon packs

We designed a new icon pack format, that will enable a lot of new functionality. SL 3.15
supports this new format, we will show you some example in the next days :)
4 - Icon normalization
Now SL automatically resizes your icons to fit material design guidelines and apply a
more uniform style to the item in your app grid.

5 - Improved preferences
Smart Launcher has tons of options, but they are useless if they are not easy to control.

Now you can see a live preview while you select a different quickstart size. You can
change both quickstart size and bubble size, to create some new effects!
Almost all the options now show a preview of the current settings.

6 - Recovery
A launcher is not a normal app. If it crashes, you are not able to use your device and we
know this is a critical problem.
However even if we work hard to prevent this kind of problems, bugs are true and, often,
unpredictable. So we included in SL 3.15 a new tool, callery Recovery.
If SL fails to start for two or more times, this screen appears and proposes you some
solutions to fix your problem.
Of course, we hope you wont never see this :D
7 - Stack from Bottom mode
This option was already present in previous version as developer option. We didnt
received any report about problems with it, so we decided to include this mode in
Preferences Drawer.
8 - Google now as search engine (only pro)
We enabled Google now as provider for the search bar. Its slower than the build-in
search engine for apps and contacts, but we decided to enable it as option. You can
enable it in Preferences Search bar Search provider.

9 - Possibility to upscale home screen widget

Now you can extend the widget size over the available space, however not all the widgets
will be affected by this change.

10 - Random wallpaper
A new option has been introduced in the wallpaper selector. Now you can select
Random and let the app search for a wallpaper and set it automatically. Its fantastic
when youre out of ideas!

11 - Removed wallpaper compression for PNG pictures

Android, by default, compresses your wallpaper. This cause a loss of quality that its
generally not perceptible on when applied to JPEG pictures, but it can seriously decrease
the quality of PNG wallpapers. We decided to remove any compression for this file
format in order to allow you to use your PNG pictures at best quality.

12 - Optimized backup size

We improved the backup creator algorithm to include only necessary info. This will
decrease both size and time required to create backup.
