Determine what you believe to be the most influential external environment factor shaping

organizational culture for managers and business leaders in the 21st century. Provide

support for your rationale.

External factors are those factors which occur outside the company, but still these impacts

the inside environment of the company and most importantly, these factors a are beyond the

control of the organization. There are various external factors like technology, customers,

economy, competitors, political and social conditions, etc. But I believe that the most important

factors is technology that can change the culture of the whole organization. For example

earlier, people have to do all the work manually. But nowadays in the 21st century, technology

has affected the working style a lot and now the people have to work on computers effectively

and efficiently. Managers and leaders encourage their employees to be technically savvy and

need to use your more creativity in making their work more efficient. They are helping their

employees to work smarter.

Suggest the most significant impact that globalization has had on organization culture in

todays work environment. Indicate whether the impact has been positive or negative from

a management perspective. Provide support for your rationale

There is no doubt that organizations are taking the advantages of globalization in their

business. It is helping the organization to sell their products outside of their home country. But it

is also true that it positively and negatively affecting the work culture of the host country. The

most significant impact that globalization had on the organizations culture on todays work

environment is that it is promoting the diversity at the workplace. From the management
perspective, it is positive because It gives the opportunity for the talented candidates to join the

organization from all over the world. But sometimes, it affect negatively too when the managers

and leaders are not able to manage the diversity issues like conflicts, argument, language

differences, and cultural values at the workplace and it affect the productivity of the employees

in negative way
