An OCC counselor will help you maximize your college experience by working with you to create an
academic plan. If you have attended another college or university, it is a good idea to bring a copy of your
unofficial transcript from each school to this meeting.

7. Attend an Orientation
It is recommended that all new students attend a college orientation session. Based on English placement
scores, a student may be required to attend an orientation. Using your MyOCC login information, click on link to
either Desire2Learn or Online Orientation to begin.
Detailed information about how to register is available in Admissions . Your MyOCC username is set-up when you
are admitted. Your default password is the lowercase first letter of your first name, the uppercase first letter of your
last name, and your 6-digit birth date (mmddyy).
You can pay your bill online or at your campus business office.
Be sure to have with you a valid photo ID, such as a passport, driver's license, military identification, alien
registration receipt card (with photograph) or photo ID card issued by a state or government agency.
12. Go to Class!
You are expected to attend all classes in which you are enrolled. If you don't attend or stop attending and fail to drop
the class before its refund deadline, you will be responsible for all tuition and fees.
Not making SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS can result in you losing financial aid.
Check MyOCC/Online Services to manage your course enrollment.
