Week at a Glance
This week is the second week set aside to
work on your final copy.
KEEP IN MIND: Do not rush through the
basic requirements because the extra
credit stuff seems more fun. Remember
that all basic requirements must be met in
order to receive extra credit points. You will
be graded on the quality of your writing,
and THAT needs to be your top priority.
Monday through Friday
Language: Work on report final copy - get parent
signature each night

Wiki Goals will NOT be checked!
Reading Logs & signatures will NOT be checked!
Valentines Day
Party!
Our party is TOMORROW!
Students may bring valentine cards
to pass out. However, if you bring
cards, it is required to include everyone in the
class. The list of names was given to everyone
last week. Also, you may attach a small treat to
your valentines (optional).

sale funds to help Lincoln programs for
students like art and music

You should be reading your fourth
book. (Due 3-3)

Research Paper
We have finally arrived at the last, last week for the
research paper! The end is finally in sight!
Please Note:
Your FIRST PRIORITY is to make sure all the
basic requirements are finished, and you are
confident that you have done a good job.
Remember, you may not work on extra credit
until you get an official signed off teacher
signature in your agenda.
Remember that TWO extra credit items DONE
WELL could earn you more extra credit points
than TEN extra credit items done poorly. Its
about quality, not quantity.
You will continue to need a parent signature in
your agenda so I know you worked on your
report each night. I will be checking in on your
progress via your Google account.
The final report must be turned in by this Friday
at the latest. All rough draft paragraphs must be
turned in along with the final copy.
Before you consider yourself finished, take time
to do your final editing. Sit down with mom or
dad and reread all your paragraphs. (Parents, you
may help with editing but the students must do the
actual fixing.) Look for:
correct spelling
correct capital letters
correct punctuation
good grammar and correctly written sentences
is something confusing?
It is possible to get done early. If that
happens, you will be free for the rest
of the week.
You will be 100% FREE only if you have
printed and turned in your completed paper AND
I have signed you off as complete in your
agenda. Once you are free, you will NOT need a
parent signature. Enjoy the breakyou deserve it!
