The undersigned are ___ year Bachelor of Laws students from the University of
______________________. One of the graduate program requirements for our enrolled
subject __________________________ is to observe trial court proceedings. This field
element is designed for us students to make a strong connection between theory and
practice through active listening and observing the practical works of the law. This
component of our curriculum will help and infuse us with practical experience as to how
judges, lawyers, clerks and other legal professionals perform their roles and functions
during hearings. Aside from getting to experience the practical side of law, we will also
gain the opportunity to observe lawyers and judges presenting legal arguments in
action. In this connection, we would like to ask permission from the Honorable Court to
allow us to observe during your scheduled hearings.
