We know Indonesia is a country of vast archipelago made up of thousands of islands

rich in ethnic and cultural stretches from Sabang to Merauke. Such diversity is a gift from the
Almighty God, a gift that should be maintained and not be the beginning of a riot.

The jury's brother and friends who I respect

Speaking of differences, diversity, then it is not foreign to us all. Because of

what? Because the people we already have and know to be the motto of "Unity in
Diversity". Therefore, on this occasion let me deliver my speech with the theme "Unity in
Diversity".

Judging from the socio-cultural aspects of Indonesia consists of over hundreds of

tribes, each of which has a customs, language, religion and beliefs vary, so it contains the
potential for conflict is great. At present we know of various mass media and often we see
immediately a lot of problems that hit our country, especially the issues of unity and
oneness. Surely this is a reflection for us all. Why the differences becomes harmonious? The
answer is not there on their own egos rather exist on how conscience realize it.

The difference is not a constraint for us if we really understand what we should

do. The difference is that there is a word comparison equation. Therefore, keep your ego to
equate us all different. Make the difference as the wealth of our nation. The difference can we
unite with the spirit of unity. As performed by our fighters in the fight for Indonesian
independence.

Ladies And Gentlemen

The thing to remember is we are in the religious state is not a religious

state. Therefore when we begin to realize that there is such a distinction, then the meaning of
tolerance of "Unity in Diversity", which is different but one also is to provide an opportunity
for them to carry out what his duty without being intrusive and without also involved as well
as the we. Therefore, when the difference was accompanied by an attitude of tolerance that
correctly and with proper understanding we can be the generation that familiarize the right
not justify usual. In that sense, we can be the generation that is more scientific in the act,
behave and speak. Understand, that togetherness is present because of the differences. Do not
make this difference as a matter of debate, let's make a difference as the beginning of
