1. AIMS AND LEARNING OBJECTIVE:


To expose the students to experimental methods of chemistry and to integrate theoretical knowledge and concept to practical
experience. Students will learn analytical methods, synthetic procedures, operation of scientific equipments for collecting data and the
analysis of collected data for final interpretation.

3. EVALUATION SCHEME:
This course is of 150 marks out of which 80 marks is assigned to daily performance, 20 marks for mid semester viva and 50 marks for
comprehensive examination.
The evaluation of daily performance of each student will be done on a day-to-day basis.

Students are expected to read the allotted experiments from the manuals before coming to the lab.

5. MAKE-UP:
Make-up Policy: Students are expected to attend all labs. Make-up labs will normally be allowed only for cases on serious medical
grounds (Doctors report has to be produced). For other important reasons whatsoever make -up will be allowed only on submission of
proper proof on case-by-case basis.
