Netherlands Fellowship Program(Netherlands)

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building within organisations in 51
countries by providing fellowships for training and education for professionals. The NFP offers
fellowships for Master studies, PhD studies, or short courses at Dutch Universities or academic
institutions. An NFP fellowship is intended to supplement the salary that the fellow should continue to
receive during the study period. The allowance is a contributionowards
t the costs of living, the costs of
tuition fees, visas, travel, insurance and thesis research.

Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme(France)

The Eiffel scholarship program was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a tool to allow
French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students for Mastersand PhD degree
programs. Eiffel scholarship-holders receive a monthly allowance and other expenses such as return
trip, social security cover, and cultural activities. Itdoes not cover tuition fees.

Erik Bleumink Scholarships at University of Groningen(Netherlands)

The Eric Bleumink Fund awards scholarships to talented students and young researchers from
developing countries who are pursuing a 1 year or 2 years Masters degree programme at the University
of Groningen. The grant covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health
insurance.

Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships(Germany)

The Heinrich Bll Foundation awards scholarships to international students who gained their university
entrance qualication from a school outside of Germany who wish to study a Masters or PhD Degree in
Germany. The scholarship value is 750 per month for Masters Students or 1000 per month for PhD
students plusvarious individual allowances. Tuition fees are not funded.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships(Canada)

TheVanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) was created to attract and retain world-class
doctoral students and to establish Canada as a global centre of excellence in research and higher
learning. The scholarships are towards a doctoral degree (or combined MA/PhD or MD/PhD). The
scholarships is worth $50,000 per year for three years.

University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships(Canada)

The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are merit-based awards that are open to
students of any nationality who will be registered as full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at
the University of Manitoba.The value of these fellowships is $18,000 (Ph.D.) and is $14,000 (Masters)
for a 12 month period.

Cambridge International Scholarship Scheme (UK)

The University of Cambridge will offer, via the Cambridge Trusts, the Cambridge International
Scholarships tointernational students undertaking PhD studies at the University. The Scholarships pay
the University Composition Fee and a maintenance allowance sufcient for a single person.

Warwick Chancellors International Scholarships(UK)

The Warwick Graduate School awards around 25 Chancellors International Scholarships to the most
outstanding international PhD applicants yearly. The scholarships are open to students of any
nationality and to any discipline offered at Warwick. The scholarships include the full payment of
overseas tuition fee and a maintenance stipend.

Nottingham Vice-Chancellors International Scholarship for Research Excellence(UK)

The University of Nottingham offersscholarships for outstanding international students who wish to
pursue a PhD or MPhil research programme at the University. The scholarship covers full tuition fees.

Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships(UK)

The University of Edinburgh will offer 30 scholarships to outstanding overseas students who intends to
pursue a PhD Research Programme in any eld of studyoffered by the University. Each scholarship
covers the difference between the tuition fee for a UK/EU graduate student and that chargeable to an
overseas graduate student. The awards do not cover maintenance expenses.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)(Australia)

The IPRS program enables international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualication in
Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers. The scholarships are available for a
period of two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree.
The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs.

University of Sydney International Scholarships(Australia)

The University of Sydney invites candidates who are eligible to undertake a Postgraduate Research
Degree or Masters by Research program to apply for the University of Sydney International Research
Scholarship (USydIS).The USydIS will cover tuition fees and living allowance for up to three years with
a possibility of one semesters extension for PhD students.
 Adelaide Scholarships International(Australia)
The University of Adelaide offers the Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) program to attract high
quality international postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide
to support its research effort. The scholarships includes course tuition fees, annual living allowance,
and health insurance.

Melbourne Research Scholarships(Australia)

The Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS) are awarded to international students wishing to
undertake graduate research degree studies at the University of Melbourne. Benets provided by
theMRSinclude living allowance, er location allowance, paid sick, maternity and parenting leave,full fee
remission and Overseas Student Health Cover.

Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships(Switzerland)

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships provide graduates from all elds with the opportunity
to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research at one of the public funded university or recognized
institutionin Switzerland. The scholarship covers a monthly allowance, tuition fees, health insurance,
lodging allowance, etc.

New Zealand International Doctoral Scholarships(New Zealand)

The NZIDRS, funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New
Zealand,provides scholarships for international students to undertake PhD study at a New Zealand
university. The NZIDRS covers University tuition fees and associated student levies for 3 years, an
annual living stipend per month for 36 months, and an annual medical insur
ance coverage for 3 years.

IRO Doctoral Scholarship Programme at K.U. Leuven(Belgium)

As one of its contributions to development co-operation, K.U. Leuven offers IRO (Interfaculty Council
for Development Co-operation) scholarships to deserving students from developing countries to do
their PhD atthe largest university in Flanders, Belgium. The scholarships include a monthly allowance,
housing allowance, tuition fee, health insurance, accident insurance, and return tickets.

CIMO Doctoral Fellowships(Finland)

The CIMO Fellowships programme is open to youngDoctoral level students and researchers from all
countries and from all academic elds who wish to pursuetheir Doctorate (or Double Doctorate) at a
Finnish university. The scholarship period may vary from 3 to 12 months. The monthly allowance is
worth 1,500 and is intended to cover living expenses in Finland for a single person.
