Any requested/specifc areas of focus: I am still trying to improve on my communication with


patients as that has been something that has brought up in the past. Because of this, I have trouble
fnding a balance between letting the residents/students to be the patients physician and me
interrupting to provide reassurance and as needed revising

For the most part, I think communication with patients was good. The residents were
usually given frst shot at
informing the patient of plans and interpretations of fndings. Occasionally, the team would
have discussions
about aspects of care or medical jargon in front of the patient that the patient could not
appreciate, and I got the
impression that a few felt they were being talked about rather than being talked to.
