National exam is a written test for students who were in the education unit level.

National Exam (UN) is useful for determining the graduation.

The national exam at least spend 580 billion rupiahs from state fund is used for text
printing costs, distribution script, the cost of supervision, and check out the answer
sheets. For this year the graduation determined by taking 60% of National Exam
score and 40% of score school. The government expected national exam can gives
valid data to know education quality in Indonesia, but the facts are as follows

1. Fraud and cheating issues among teachers and students

Cheating is very rampant, because of the huge pressure to passing the exam.
Schools and teachers are either ignoring it, encouraging it, or even do it.
Examples include using mobile phones to send answers to other students,
giving the answer key, either openly or discreetly, and changing the answer
on the answer sheet. School principals and teachers has been arrested on
that case.
To deter cheating, National Exam question variation had increased for middle
and high school, from one to five in 2011, and from five to 20 in 2013. Other
measures are inclusion of barcode in 2013 partly to determine question
variation codes and to tackle cheating. Even then, cheating still occurs,( i add
this statement) as reported by okezone.com about fraud and cheating always
recur annually.
2. The sensitive computer answer sheet
As we know, we answer questions with discoloring the whole circle (option)
which we think right. But sometimes the clever students are not discolor the
answer sheet with full or passing of circles and even litter the answer sheet.
Thus that makes students get minimum score in national exam.

Unfair right????. Thus, by that explanation i strongly agree with stopped national
exam indonesia. My solution that i offer is we need competency standards that can
apply by every school to standardize education through minister education to
reduce educational inequality among each regions in Indonesia. Join me to stop the
national exam.
