My reaction of the Count of Monte Cristo

was a mixed reaction. First of all, Count of
Monte Cristo was about a man named
Edmond Dantes who was a young
merchant sailor, was secretly imprisoned,
and lock up in a dark and gloomy cell. For
me, it was unjust for the four men
responsible for his imprisonment. The
reason why is because he lost hope and
his ambitions and reputations were
destroyed. And if it were me in the cell
locked up, I would of felt that life was
hopeless and unfair. I felt pity for Edmond
Dantes because he could of done so
many things and could of accomplished
so many things outside the cell within
those span of years. I not only felt
sympathy and pity towards him but also
towards the feeling in his heart which was
vengeance against his betrayers because
instead of seeking vengeance he could
just leave it to the authorities of the
government.
