Cause and action

Turbo hot shut down, same functionality as on WLO G-
models, is introduced. The engine is considered hot if the
engine torque has been high for 60 seconds during the past
180 seconds. If the temperature is considered to be too high;
maximum hot engine waiting time will be 120 seconds.
New functionality is added on the electro servo lever.
Automatic tilt, lift, return-to-dig and float position are affected.
It is now possible to use the lever with disabled detent solenoid
function; same functionality as on WLO G-models. The main
control of automatic functions, activation / deactivation and
setting position, is set by the switches on the cab post panel.
The automatic function is activated the same way as before;
by pushing or pulling the lever to the end position. At any
automatic function, the lever will move back to neutral position
after activation.

The deactivation sequence of automatic functions has been

changed. The automatic function is aborted as soon as the
operator moves the lever in any direction from neutral position.
Example: Automatic lift activation is done by moving the lever to
the end lift position and then the lever is back to neutral. The boom
will raise to its presetting. If the lever is pushed forward during the
lift operation, the function will be aborted and the lifting frame
stops at its position.
The new functionality can be chosen by a parameter QHX-setting
by TechTool. Parameter QHX (V2ECU) defines which electric
lever type that is being used:
0 = lever with detent solenoid function
1= lever with disabled detent solenoid function
2= electric single lever (not used in WLO F-models)
NOTE!
The default setting on the parameter in this software is type 1. If
the operator wants to use the original setting with detent magnet
in the lever, the setting on parameter QHX should be changed to
type 0.
Current I-ECU communication; when the machine was not
used for a longer period of time, the super cap batteries in the
I-ECU were discharged and created cranking problems. The
reason may have been that no Date and Time was set in the I-
ECU because the super cap batteries in the I-ECU needed to
be charged.
In this new software, a guard has been added that actively will
check Date and Time and automatically set corrections to
prevent cranking issues.
Hardware / software part number for W-ECU (MID142) is
added in the menu / display.
Boom suspension system (BSS) can now deactivate also in F1
and R1 gear.
Axle oil temperature sensor; corrections introduced to reduce
the risk of false alarms.
Reversible fan error code MID187 PSID 67 FMI 5 and MID187
PSID35 FMI5; corrections of the extended diagnostic for
reversible fan control.
Changed speed dependent activation for Return-to-dig and
Float to 20 km/h.

Work instruction TechTool

1 Start TechTool and log in online (Connect to Central
Systems).
2 Select [TechTool] - Manage Software.
3 Type in chassis ID, MID and campaign.
4 Press [Add].
5 Check which ECU's are in the machine.
6 Delete unwanted/non existing ecus N.B. It is only possible
to download one MID/type per machine.
7 Press [Send order].
8 Make sure the software is downloaded by checking
[Available software].
9 Close [Administrate software] tab.
10 Close TechTool or continue to item 12 if you already are in
the machine.
11 Start TechTool.
12 Connect TechTool to machine, the machine will be selected
automatically.
13 Enter work order number.
14 Select [Program].
15 Start operation "17093-3 Program with stored software".
16 Follow the steps in the operation.
17 Error codes can occur, for no obvious reason, during
calibration, adjustment of parameters or software
programming. All error codes should be deleted with
TechTool before leaving the machine.
