This handout can be used for intensive writing and speaking practice of this important target structure. It can
also be done orally in the classroom, and set as written homework.
Follow the instruction for exercise one. Encourage true answers. If a student has never done an activity (or
almost never), he/she should write I never xxx. Monitor carefully.
Pair off students as A and B. Students should swap sheets in pairs. Student B should turn over the sheet.
Student A then asks the questions, and checks that Bs answers are the same as the ones written.
Students should pair off with a new partner and ask and answer the questions they have written. Encourage
follow-up questions. (Wherewho withetc.)
